  • Prototype SpeciesHuman
  • SourceLipopolysaccharide induced disseminated intravascular coagulation
  • Model Animal StrainsBig ears white rabbit, healthy, male and female, weight 1.5-2.5kg.
  • Modeling GroupingRandomly divided into six group: Control group, Model group, Positive drug group and Test drug group.
  • Modeling Period4-6 weeks
  • Modeling Method2 kg male New Zealand rabbits, after anesthesia, the rabbit supine fixed on the operating table, the middle neck aseptic operation for all, blunt separation of the left carotid vein, artery ligation. Puncture and fixation with 18G venous cannula needle to prepare the specimen for use. The rabbits were injected LPS slowly into the peripheral vein of the rabbit ear by the weight of 2.5m/kg, and then injected 2 times. The interval of was about 1hr, and the injection time was about 10 min. Before and after injection of 2, 4 and 6 h respectively, take rabbit blood to detect the level of thromboplastin time (APTT), fibrinogen, platelet count, antithrombin III, serum fibrin degradation products (FDP). At the end of the model, the animals were anesthetized and sacrificed, and the heart, lung, liver, spleen and liver tissues were fixed with 10% Formaldehyde Solution for routine histological sections, stained with HE and observed under light microscope.
